Farsi is actually the correct term. Persian is what we used to refer to them as during the times of shah. Too many Iranians in America like saying that they speak persian but it has been a long time since people called the language persian.
its like me saying. hey i speak chinese. lol but there are tons of languages in china. just as there are a few different languages in iran.
it is actually correct to say farsi and incorrect to say persian.
and if u call the language persian u might as well call the country Persia
