STEP FOUR: Disconnect the phone, and wait few seconds. Go to your applications (on the phone) and look for GMobileXT icon and run the application.
Garmin Mobile XT will start and you should read the agreements and stuff, once you’re done setting the basics, you get few options:
- to buy garmin xt
- to enter your activation key
- to evaluate the trial version
- to use a non garmin gps reciever.
Click the last one (other gps reciever), and then cancel the search for gps devices. Go to ”Tools” , go to “Settings”, and open the “About” menu, you’ll get an IMIE code on the about page, note that down!
Now, exit Garmin Mobile XT on your E71 (N95, N95 8BG, N96, N82…)
STEP FIVE: Download the Garmin Mobile XT Unlock Genertor (by JetMouse) on your PC, then run it, and enter the code you noted in the “Unit ID” part and then click on “Generate” (the first one, while the Garmin Mobile XT is selected).
You’ll get a long code, just copy that and past it in a text editor (like notepad) and save the file as SW.UNL (make sure the file is not a txt file!!)
STEP SIX: Connect your phone to your PC again in the Data Transfer Mode, and copy the SW.UNL file you’ve created to your Garmin folder on your phone’s memory card.
Now, you can run Garmin Mobile XT with your phone’s internal GPS!

i cannot download garmin for e71 can anyone give me the link …
i tried the above but no luck still cant get the gps going but i do have nokia n86 please help me
