thanks alot, thought i had to flash my phone again, i realize that all my files stored on the internal card(8gb) are still there but anything store on the phone memory got deleted… thanks again

@sue: If you haven’t written any data on the memory card (be it log file, an image, a video or even an sms) you maybe able to recover some data. That requires specific software and utilities which can recover data from memory card. Just search on the net to find such type of software.

i have formatted my memory and lostall of my pictures and videos on my nokia n95 8gb is there any way of getting it back. i backed it up but i still lost it. i have priceless pics on there is there any way i can get them back……plz help if u can thanx

Many tkx for the 3 buttons reboot – it brought my N95 back which had been totally locked into an endless rebooting sequence – grate job!

Thank you very much, exact the same thing happened to my N95 and i tried the first option with the “3″, “*” and the green button when booting and it worked just fine. Big thanks to you.

at least ypur lights and logo appear. mine won;t even do that . when i bought it it started , everything worked and it suddenly blocked. i dunno why . and it won;t start anymore. NOTHING!

hi Andy,

In the tutorials, i’ve given all warnings on what to do and what to not do, like never use an external usb hub for connecting the phone,or keep the phone connected to the charger, check the usb cables and use an original nokia new cable. and you should check that the computer is in good health (virus and spyware free), and lot more precautions to take, I hope you followed all of them precisely. And you’ve been aware and warned about the posibility to brick your phone.

Anyway, as now, I recommend you try to make it with the Hard Reset method (three buttons thing) which is explained at http://www.gibni.com/n95-wont-boot , This is the last solution I can suggest you. Maybe you should try it more than once, as it’s not the easiest thing to do! If nothing works, I would recommend you take it to the nearest Nokia repair service.

When I was trying to install new software using nsu to my nokia n95. I noticed that the phone goes off and the nokia logo appeared (the light is off).
In a minute, the PC I was using told me that the phone has been disconnected. So, it asks me to turn the phone off, remove and replace the battery and turn the phone on again.
It happens again and again. The last time I tried that again, the phone won’t turn on.
It just has the nokia logo and nothing else happened. I tried the hard reset (green button things) but it still didn’t work.
So, please help me.
